Hello everyone, and Happy New Year!

Well, here we are – another year gone and another one unfolding. I’m sure you will all tell me how your own went! For me, it’s been very eventful and extremely busy, as always. But you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way; especially when I get to meet some of you lovely people!

Hopefully, when we have the big event, I’ll be able to meet a lot more of you, and I’m really looking forward to that. So keep your ear to the ground, and keep checking the website for more information – and do bring your families and friends, if at all possible.

Did you see how the BORN BAD paperback went straight to number 1 in October? It was still riding high in the charts well into he New Year, and I have all of you to thank for that!

As you probably know, I was invited onto the Alan Titchmarsh show, where the finalists of a writing competition were announced. It was very enjoyable, and, as always, Alan was just lovely. He has worked so hard and has won the admiration and respect of so many of us, he deserves every success that comes his way. But then, so do all of you – whatever setbacks you suffer, you should NEVER give up on your dream. If I had listened to those people who said I could never be a writer, ‘coming from my impoverished background’, I would not be doing what I so passionately love. So please listen to your heart, and magical things might one day happen…

So, what’s going on with me now? Well, as you probably know, the new hardback of BLOOD BROTHERS is out on February 4th! I know many of you are waiting with eager anticipation, and I promise you will not be disappointed. This is a dark and dangerous story, involving a frightened girl who is rejected by a cold, unloving mother and a bitter, spiteful sister. In searching for love and family, she finds herself torn. She has to make a hard decision, which will have far reaching and shocking consequences.

BLOOD BROTHERS will draw you in and hold you there, until the end. Even then, it will not let you go. I’m finding it hard to shake off some of the haunting scenes even now, as I write the outline for my new book!

I do hope you enjoy it!

With love, as always,
